Good morning peeps. We are just one week away from My 1 year anniversary August 17th as an official member of the WIOG hit team. August 24th I celebrate my birthday but will have the official party live on the radio August 31st with the Labor Day mixdown special. The Saturday Night Hot Zone is still going strong with the help of you the loyal listeners. Big shout out to all of you. Just dropping a line to say hello and to keep your ears to the radio. Lots of good music coming out. This Saturday I'll be dropping the new singles from Both Lady Gaga and Katy Perry. Also bringing back the Billboard Electronic / Dance Mixshow countdown and maybe even a guest dj. 2013... wow I Can't believe I have let this get away from me. I will do my best to stay on top of things here in 2013. Here's an update on our mixshow times. E.T and Extra and all you other gossip shows

you need to change your ways. dragging on soneones death so you can have a story one month or years later is getting really old. Will you just let Whitney Houston rest in peace and leave Bobby Kristina alone.

Report real stories and not 30 sec bits and pieces throughout your show trying to make us watch only to get to the story and you say the same dang thing. You need some writers who can come up with stories with meaning.....enough said....now back to regular scheduled program. Spatacus... wow is all i gotta say.......FACE OFF.....

whitney houston

its a sad day for music lovers. we learned yesterday that Whitney Houston has passed on. She will be performing for the heavens above.

As a young kid I had a huge crush on Whitney. I have always loved her music. Even to this day you can hear me playing I wanna dance with somebody and how will i know in the clubs. I know the world is so hung up on lil wayne and drake records that it is so refreshing to hear the crowd singing hear songs loud and proud as if they sang it and not whitney.

Thank you Whitney for all the great music you blessed us with. You will always be our queen of the night and we will always love you. My heart and prayers go out to your family.

Had a really good time with the shows today. The call ins were great. You the people were able to take a very exhausted mile high and lift his spirits with the call in during the happy hour. Wow were are already into the month of February. Tomorrow is ground hogs day. I got a feeling that furry little creature will see his shadow and well have six more weeks of winter. Which we do. Lol

On to business. For those who Have kept coming back and checking in I so apologize for not keeping this up to date. Today marks a new beginning and I will keep you posted on everything from now on. My Picks and Reviews

What's up good people. Summer is upon us once again. Usually that means a bunch of really good music comes out. With that in mind I thought I would take a second a just list some of my top picks. I always do what the people want so for once I thought I would give my picks. That way you can get a feel or who I am more as to always being known as the peoples dj. Not that there is anything wrong with that. I love the support. Keep it coming.

So here are my top ten songs.

#1 - Ke$ha - Your Love Is My Drug [Full Tilt Remix]
#2 - Katy Perry - California Gurls [Dj X-Factor Going Back 2 Cali Remix]
#3 - La Rouxx - Bulletproof - I have 2 versions I am pounding [Riverside Remix & Dj Deville's Tribal Bootleg] both are pure fire.
#4 - Justin Bieber - Baby [Guccimix] Yes I have bieber fever. One listen to this mix and you will know why. By far the best remix of this song.
#5 - Usher - O.M.G [Dj Intensify] & [Full Tilt Remix] especially after seeing the shot girl at Rum Runners Last Fri Night. Honey got a booty like POW POW POW! WOW OH WOW... I WAS CHECKING HER OUT.....
#6 - Christin Aguilera - Not Myself Tonight [Full Tilt Remix] - I like the shorter mixes of the songs but this track just screams energy and I love that.
#7 - JLS - Everybody In love [ I just got the club remixes so I haven't test this out yet, but I really do like the original radio edit]
#8 - Marques Houston - Kickin and Screaming [ I have only played this once in a club, but I personally like this song. The more I play it for myself the more it's growing on me]
#9 - V.L Brown - Shark in The Water - I was given this one a few months ago from my P.D. I slept on it and didn't even give this one a listen. Then it appeared on a remix issue and I thought what the hell I'll give it a try and yes the shark in the water bit me. I'm playing the club version and I haven't cleared any floors yet while playing it.
#10 - Iyaz - Solo [ I've got a remix with Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson that I like to use on the radio mixshows, In the club, I' all about the xmix dub version. It's short and got muscle. Great mix with energy and hype. I love it.

Introducing the WIOG HOT ZONE

For years I have wanted to have my own show where I actually had control of the music and was able to just be myself with a show. I was finally given that chance. Thus far I haven't had to follow any specific guidelines other than being formatted to fit the station. I am truly having alot of fun with this, and the people listening all seem to be enjoying what I've been doing. In fact, a couple of weeks ago. The station music director called me and advised me that there was someone from Oklahoma who just happen to be listening to the station on line and really liked what he had heard and thought it would be a perfect fit for his radio station somewhere in Oklahoma. Where this station is located I don't have a clue I don't have any information other than it's in Oklahoma. So hopefully soon I will get that and who knows if your in the state of Oklahoma maybe very soon you will also be rocking your Saturday Nights to the sweet sound of the Captain E-Man.

I thought I would give you a little taste of what the Saturday Night Hot Zone Sounds like. I am posting below one of the shows. 3 hours of party music, keep in mind this is formatted for radio airplay. Meaning you may hear extended breaks with a long music bed {radio terms -- breakdown / talkover music bed / loop / instrumental beat}
which allows the on air talent a chance to talk to the people listening, run contests, take requests, etc etc etc.. You get the idea. So hope you enjoy the show.

Looks Like I am Behind

Greetings my friends. First of all let me apologize for not keeping this up to date. I thought I was posting them on a regular basis but it looks like they are not making it to this page. I will look into this matter and figure out what I did and why they are not here.
